Belial and some of his followers

According to the Goetia: Belial is a Mighty and Powerful King, and was created next after Lucifer. He appeareth in the Form of Two Beautiful Angels sitting in a Chariot of Fire. He speaketh with a Comely Voice, and declareth that he fell first from among the worthier sort, that were before Michael, and other Heavenly Angels. His Office is to distribute Presentations and Senatorships, etc., and to cause favour of Friends and of Foes. He giveth excellent Familiars, and governeth 80 Legions of Spirits.

Wikipedia had quite a bit of info on Belial:Belial (also Belhor, Baalial, Beliar, Belias , Beliall, Beliel, Bilael, Belu; from Hebrew בְּלִי֫עַל Bəliyyáʻal; also named Matanbuchus, Mechembuchus, Meterbuchus in older scripts) is a demon in the Bible, Christian apocrypha and Jewish apocrypha, and also a term used to characterize the wicked or worthless.

The etymology of the word is uncertain, but is most commonly translated as “without worth”. Some scholars translate it from Hebrew as “worthless” (Beli yo’il), while others translate it as “yokeless” (Beli ol), “may have no rising” (Belial) or “never to rise” (Beli ya’al). Only a few etymologists have assumed it to be a proper name from the start. In the Book of Jubilees, uncircumcised heathens are called “sons of Belial”.

In the Goetia, Belial is said to be very respectful. Belial is also the demon of lies and guilt. As a Prince of Hell, he commands 80 Legions of Demons and is specifically the Prince reigning over the Northern Reaches of Hell. His General and Bride Avaira is the general of these legions and of the Harposh Army. He controls the element of earth and reigns over the Earth demons.

Those are the nine council member of the Shadow World. Next week I’ll let you know what the Goetia has to say about Solomon and the vessel in which he trapped the 72 mighty Kings and Princes of Hell.

Have a great Demon Friday!

  10. Bren says:

    Dani:
She never married him, she used Belial’s Second general who was of a similar race of Demon as her, to get back at him, and to fallow the traditions of their respected race’s as a form of revenge the general moved to Satan’s army, after the bickering and infighting got out of hand Avaira Attacked Satan for insulting her and catching her with his new general behind Belial’s Back.
as punishment they where banished to earth.
shes barley spoken of because of her punishment, and because shes female, they and if you noticed most female demons are not talked about
